BLITZ CHAMPIONSHIP:

Friday December 27. 8-round Swiss blitz tournament with players all in 1 section. Higher of Regular or Blitz ratings used for pairings and prizes. December 2019 ratings list used.
Time control: G/7, d2.
On-site Registration: 12-12:45pm, Friday Dec 27.
Round 1: 1pm, other rounds scheduled as soon as possible.
Entry Fee: $35 advance rate by December 20; $45 late/on-site.
Projected Prize Fund: $800 based on 40 paid entries. Prizes: $250-125-50; U2100: $150-75; U1800: $100-50.


SCHOLASTIC TOURNAMENT:

Friday December 27. 4 round Swiss - 3 sections. Open to any scholastic player in grades K-12. December 2019 ratings list used.
3 Sections: K-12/Open, K-8/U1000, K-5/U700.
On-site Registration: 9-9:45am, Friday Dec 27.
Entry Fee: $35 advance rate by December 20; $45 late/on-site.
Rounds: 10am, 12pm, 2pm, 4pm.
Time control: G/45 d10.
Prize Fund: trophies, medals, certificates and book credit prizes.


QUICK TOURNAMENT:

4 rounds in 1 section on Sat 12/28, in the evening. December 2019 Rating List.
Time Control: G/15, d10.
Schedule: Round 1: 10pm, rest as soon as possible.
On-Site Registration: 9-9:45pm
Entry Fee: $30 advance rate by December 20; $35 late/on-site.
Projected Prizes: $350 in cash prizes based on 20 paid entries: 1st/2nd: $125/50, U2100: $70/30; U1800: $50/25.

Refund Policy: There is a $10 service charge for refunds. To obtain an entry fee refund you MUST notify the tournament TD in person or by email MORE THAN two hours BEFORE the start of Round 1.
